Our work with Outliers Mining Solutions was focused on increasing production and efficiency throughout our business in 2015. We were very please with our results and their team played a significant role in achieving our goals. The level of improvement and the speed at which they were attained exceeded our expectations.

The results were impressive: increased Ex-Pit Mining Production by 25%, Crushing production by 33%, and Mill Production by 18%.

What we appreciated most about working with Outliers was their ability to work successfully with our team members to deliver results. We consider them our partners in business.

Based on our success in 2015, we have engaged Outliers to provide business improvement training and mentoring to help build internal capacity in our people and embed a continuous improvement culture.

The bottom line in mining operations is the ability to deliver consistent results. These highly skilled professionals were a key contributor to our continuous improvement program at site in efforts to maximize the use of our Fleet Management System.
These improvements resulted in an increase of 7.3 hours per shift for our hauling fleet; and 2.0 hours per shift on our loading fleet. This was approximately equivalent to 2.7 million tonnes of additional muck movement per year with marginal OPEX and no increase in fleet size”
